ElvenFlowBuffer Alternative
Switch to ElvenFlow if you care more about growing on Threads than about covering eleven platforms. Buffer schedules Threads posts, but its own docs say best time to post is not available for Threads, and it cannot schedule reposts, polls, GIFs, or alt text there. ElvenFlow gives you best times on Threads, drafts your replies, and puts your best posts back to work.
Best if Threads is where you are trying to grow. Best times, drafted replies, outreach, and evergreen reposting all work on Threads.
Best if you are keeping eleven platforms moving and Threads is one of them. It is the widest, most established scheduler of the two.

If you are running a lot of platforms, take Buffer. Eleven of them in one calendar is a real advantage, and no Threads-first tool is going to match that reach. ElvenFlow covers eight, so if Facebook or Pinterest are part of your week, Buffer does more of your job in one place.
It is also cheaper for a small setup. Three channels are free with ten scheduled posts each, and Essentials is $5 a month per channel after that. The catch is that per-channel pricing adds up fast once you connect a lot of accounts, so run the numbers for your own setup rather than ours.
And if Threads is genuinely a side channel for you, the gaps in Buffer's Threads support may not matter. Missing best times and reposts only hurts if Threads is where you are trying to grow.
On phones, Buffer has apps and ElvenFlow does not. ElvenFlow runs in your phone's browser instead, so you can write, edit, and schedule from your phone, and you can add it to your home screen if you want it one tap away. Buffer's apps are handy for a single post, but a thread of more than one post has to be scheduled from the web there too.
